Movember "Whatever you grow will save a bro" by Matta

Movember dispels issues surrounding moustache envy with this year's global campaign.

Narrated by Notting Hill actor Rhys Ifans, the charity's spot celebrates different types of moustaches to be grown throughout the month, from Burt Reynolds’ gold-standard facial hair to the more miniscule moustache, encouraging men to raise awareness and funds for Movember regardless of their beard-growing capabilities.

The spot also gives a nod to the recent Movember trend of men shaving their beard for the month, adding a new element of vulnerability to the charity's 30-day challenge.

This marks a sharp change in tone from Movember's 2016 film, "Suicide notes talk too late", which aimed to encourage men to talk about their feelings.

Launching across social, TV and cinema, activity coincides with the UK's coverage of the Rugby World Cup. The work was written by Matt Campbell, art directed by Dean Farrow and directed by Joshua Neale through Smuggler.
