He then took the role of publishing director, running two-thirds of the publishing divisions at FT Business. After a brief time away, he returned in 2006, most recently assisting in the strategic planning of FT.com. In his new role, Cunnington will be responsible for managing the financial and advertising sales team and co-ordinating the FT and FT Business collaboration.
