Movers: Appointment at Clark McKay & Walpole

Clark McKay & Walpole has bolstered its management team across its offline and online agencies with four new appointments.

Within the direct agency, Paul Valois joins as the business development director from MBA, where he held an equivalent role. Valois previously spent six years at Baber Smith, where he held a variety of roles, including business director. Hamish Grant joins as the client services director from Harrison Troughton Wunderman, where he was a business director on a number of accounts including Microsoft. In his new role, Grant will be responsible for all of CMW's accounts. Francis Smith joins as the head of data planning from Which?, where he was the head of customer insight. During his 20-year career, Smith has held a number of direct, data and customer roles at companies including Abbey,, Saga and IMP, now Arc. Finally, on the digital side of the business, David Smith joins as the head of CMW Interactive from the start-up Cineregularity, where he was a director. Smith, a former digital director at EHS Brann, replaces Sean Hanneberry, who left CMW when he returned to his native Australia.
