Howell joins from The Marketing Store Worldwide, where he was the European creative director on McDonald's. His 18-year career also includes spells at the US agency Frankel, where he was the creative director on McDonald's, Visa and Thomas Cook. He began his career in London at Leo Burnett, where he was a junior art director. Arthur Parshotham, the executive creative director of Draft London, said: "Julian is an award-winning creative head. He has boundless energy and enthusiasm for what he does and his extensive sales promotion knowledge will make him an asset to the company."
Draft London has hired Julian Howell in the new role of creative director of retail activation and sales promotion of the agency's Nokia account.
