Dan Thwaites (pictured) becomes the planning director across all the agency's accounts. He joined the agency as the director of digital earlier this year from RMG Connect, where he worked on accounts including Mercedes-Benz, HSBC, Shell and Vodafone. In his new role at Hicklin Slade, he will continue to manage the digital aspects of the business and will also hold a position on the board. Thwaites replaces Mark Runacus, who has been promoted to the position of chief strategy officer. Runacus will work closely with clients to develop strategies based on data insight and lead the agency's strategic direction.
