Movers: Appointment at McMillan-Scott

Tim Parfitt, the former managing director of Conde Nast's UK and Spanish contract publishing units, has joined McMillan-Scott's publishing division as the development director.

Parfitt is charged with driving expansion of the company's customer publishing division, whose clients include the Caravan Club. He joins after a period as the deputy managing director of Terence Conran's illustrated book division, Conran Octopus. Parfitt worked at Conde Nast for ten years during the 70s and 80s before relocating to Madrid in 1994 for two years. He returned to London to set up Conde Nast's UK contract publishing arm in 1999.
