Movers: Appointment at Proximity London

Julie Screech - Proximity London has appointed the former Joshua data director Julie Screech to head its data division, The Counting House. Screech takes up the position after a spell working as a freelance at the agency. She replaces Marc O'Regan, who is leaving the agency to join WPP. Screech joins Proximity from the data strategy specialist Ruby Mountain; before that, she was the data director at Joshua for six years. In her new job, she will be responsible for a team of 35 data analysts working across clients such as Volkswagen, O2 and BBC TV Licensing.

Screech said: "Understanding customer behaviour is central to Proximity's thinking. Data needs to be at the heart of that thinking, providing smart insights that can be a platform for distinctive and effective creativity."
