The campaign, through London-based independent agency Bear, features six characters, each representing a member of society, including a schoolboy and artist.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of next months awards and to get across the fact that the MTV Europe Awards are voted for by the public.
People can vote online, on one of MTV Europe's 10 websites, or by SMS. MTV Europe has also placed photoplay touch-screen terminals in bars and clubs across Europe. In addition voting can be done by completing forms available from retail outlets, radio stations and magazines.
The ads run across MTV's ten European markets including magazines such as Loaded, TV Hits and Music Week in the UK, and Adrenaline in France.
It will be translated into five languages, including Spanish and Catalan aimed at demonstrating MTV Europe's commitment to connecting to local audiences.
The MTV Europe awards will be broadcast across Europe on November 14 from the Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona. It will be hosted by bad-boy rap star Sean P Diddy Combs.
Presenters include Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry, Holly Valance, Kylie Minogue, Ms Dynamite, Ronan Keating and the Sugababes. Confirmed artists appearing at the awards including Christina Aguilera, Coldplay, Enrique Iglesias, Pink, Robbie Williams and Wyclef.
The party is sponsored by Vodafone, D&G, Footlocker and American Express.
