MySpace to launch online music programme The List

LONDON - MySpace is to launch an international edition of The List, an extension of its Secret Shows franchise, featuring exclusive live gig footage for users of the social networking website.

A screening of emo-rock band My Chemical Romance's gig in Los Angeles earlier in the month is currently live on The List website.

The List is the latest service to be made available on MySpace, and the My Chemical Romance gig can currently be viewed by users in the US, the UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany and Australia.

The service is an extension of MySpace's Secret Shows, which launched in August, and has so far screened performances by Primal Scream and The Magic Numbers.

The List currently has 3m registered artists on the website.

My Chemical Romance were recently number one in the UK singles chart with the title track off their latest album 'Welcome to the Black Parade'.
