Naked has won best media campaign of the year for its Selfridges
"Toyko life" work at the Campaign Media Awards, held on 28 November.
Simon Marquis, the chief executive of Zenith UK and chairman of the
judges, said the Selfridges campaign "hit the spot with all the judges".
The work also picked up best strategic idea by a media owner in
broadcast and best use of mixed media.
Michael Jackson, the outgoing chief executive of Channel 4, won media
achiever of the year award for his "monumental achievements". Jackson
has moved to the US to become the president and chief executive of USA
Entertainment Networks.
Starcom Motive picked up prizes for best international campaign and best
use of TV and/or cinema for its Johnnie Walker "inspiring personal
progress" campaign and best use of business magazines for UBS
Warburg.
Marquis commented that "truly sparkling case histories were thin on the
ground. Workmanlike and skillful - in abundance; bold and fresh - too
few."
