Following its "Who wins if you win?" campaign about people's real-life dreams of sharing a Lotto jackpot, The National Lottery's Christmas ad chronicles a year in the life of a young woman named Katy.
The ad is made up entirely of her own video footage including calls with her nan, birthday celebrations and shots of concerts and festivals, culminating in Katy’s family Christmas gathering. Katy’s nan plays a starring role and the video ends with a selfie of the two of them in front of a Christmas tree. The 60-second spot will debut on Saturday (2 December) during The X Factor. It was written by Dan Warner, art directed by Andy Vasey and directed by Joshua Neale through Smuggler.
