#NationalCoffeeDay gives brands an energy boost

Brands, retailers, sports teams and even government organizations gave their social channels a pick-me-up on Tuesday in honor of National Coffee Day.

Several coffee companies, such as Dunkin’ Donuts and Krispy Kreme, gave consumers free cups of joe throughout the day to celebrate, as well as posting fun content on Twitter. Some brands – Orbit Gum, for one – created original videos for the pseudo-holiday, and others shared fun coffee-related facts.
