Neil to address PPA conference

Andrew Neil, one of the most high profile media figures in the UK, will make a keynote speech at this year’s Periodical Publishers Association Magazines 2005 conference.

The former-Sky executive chairman and now publisher of The Scotsman, The Business and The Spectator will address delegates on the so-called B2B day of the conference on 3 May.

The move comes during a busy period for Neil the general election nears - in his role as presenter of the BBC's Thursday night political show, The Week - and he undertakes the conference chair role for this year’s Media 360 industry gathering in St Andrews, Scotland.

Neil will be joined by Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue in the US, and the editor-in-chief at Time, Norman Pearlstine, during the two-day event at Grosvnor House in London.

Neil is also the subject of this week’s profile in Media Week.
