- Internet food retailing business, LM Solutions, has announced the appointment of two managing directors.
The company, founded by three former directors from investment bankers Goldman Sachs, has recruited Nigel Robertson and Roger Whiteside to the positions.
Both resigned from Marks & Spencer earlier this week, where they were responsible for running the M&S food retail division.
LM Solutions is to be launched in direct competition with leading supermarkets. It hopes to take a slice of the European grocery market, which is estimated to be worth £600 billion a year.
The company aims to launch in a year.
