The account is currently split across a number of roster agencies around the globe, and Barclays Capital is looking for a single network with offices in New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo and London. The pitch will be handled by the AAR.
The winning network will be briefed to create a global brand-building campaign.
It will principally be a business-to-business campaign aimed at large global corporations, financial institutions and governments.
In the UK and Europe, the business is currently handled by Doremus, a specialist financial agency that is a subsidiary of Omnicom.
However, the outfit will still be retained and work with the financial company on a project-by-project basis.
