- Benetton has launched a new global advertising campaign to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the United Nation's Declaration of Human Rights.

The ads, created by Benetton creative director Oliviero Toscani, feature the faces of children from around the world and will run in press and on poster sites in 19 countries in all including Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the US and the UK.

The stated aim of the campaign is to "remind world opinion of the people's fundamental human rights, as individuals and as members of social groups, and to emphasise the fact that the protection of these rights is a prime duty of each one of the UNs member states."
