Two creatives who have never worked together before are joining M&C

Saatchi as the agency’s newest senior team.

Sue Higgs, a copywriter at Lowe Howard-Spink, and Steve Paskin, a

copywriter at Leagas Delaney, have known each other for seven years.

James Lowther, the M&C Saatchi joint creative director, said: ’We think

this pairing will make an explosive combination.’

The signings are in response to the agency’s most recent new-business

gains, particularly to launch Sainsbury’s banking service (Campaign, 20

December 1996).

Last week Paskin won a bronze at the Campaign press awards for his work

on Adidas. He joined Leagas Delaney two years ago and has worked on Pepe

jeans, Harrods, the Guardian, Hyundai and Punch.

Higgs, a Lowes staffer for seven years, has won prizes at Cannes and in

the D&AD Awards.
