ARM Direct has been awarded the task of launching fantasy football
league website - PremierWin.com.
Merrick Page and Tony Daniel, directors of ARM’s media division, have
planned a pounds 750,000 advertising campaign to break on 1 August.
Magazine titles that have made it onto the schedule include FourFourTwo,
Match of the Day and When Saturday Comes.
Advertising has also been placed on TalkSport and terrestrial, satellite
and cable TV and Daniel has bought banner ads as part of the push.
The PremierWin competition offers a top prize of pounds 1 million, as
well as a pounds 5,000 Manager of the Month prize.
Players also have the opportunity to win smaller prizes such as holidays
and game tickets through the site, which contains football news, results
and statistics.
Aside from buying, ARM Direct is responsible for the creation of the
brand name and logo, plus the design and creation of the
advertising.
Leonarde Ormonde, managing director of Football Manager, the company
behind the concept, said: ’There are high expectations for the campaign,
with an estimated subscription base of 250,000 within the first three
months of the competition.’
