Stephen Carter, JWT’s managing director, refused to discuss Burridge’s
new job in detail. However, it is understood that he will be heading a
new account as a senior board account director.
Burridge, 39, has run a broad range of business during an agency career
that spans Ayer Barker, Dewe Rogerson and JWT, which he joined in 1987.
At JWT, he worked as a board account director responsible for a number
of the agency’s accounts, including Parcelforce and De Beers, for which
he helped develop the television campaign, ‘shadows’.
Burridge commented: ‘I was very happy at AMV. It had to be a fantastic
offer to make me leave. The JWT role offers international and integrated
opportunities, which makes it a job above jobs.’
