Two directors have left RSA Films to join Jo Godman, the company’s
former managing director, in a rival production company start-up.
Vaughan Arnell, Godman’s most recent signing, and Jonathan Greenhalgh
left the company this week to join Godman in her new, as yet unnamed,
venture.
Adrian Harrison, the former RSA producer who has taken over the running
of the company with Paul Rothwell, a former top producer at the Paul
Weiland Film Company, commented: ‘This kind of thing is part of business
life. One has to be philosophical about it.’
Arnell has worked for Lewin and Watson, Propaganda, Federation and RSA
in the last two years alone.
Greenhalgh, a former agency creative, was given his directing break by
RSA.
Sources suggest that Godman approached a number of directors at the
company, but that only Arnell and Greenhalgh are to leave.
