What could be more appropriate than adland’s most voracious networker ending up as chief of social-media giant Facebook’s EMEA operations? Mendelsohn cut her teeth agency-side, at shops such as Grey London and Karmarama. Arguably, though, her star now shines brighter client/media owner-side. This May, Mendelsohn celebrated her second anniversary (or ‘Faceversary’ as it is clunkily referred to internally) at Facebook, and she reflected on her two years with a piece for Marketing in which, inspiringly, she said: "Do what you would do if you weren’t afraid."
