Nissan will use its presence at The O2 to promote the carmaker's forthcoming electric vehicle, Leaf, which goes on sale in the UK in March 2011.

Branding and advertising on the interior and exterior of The O2 will focus on the Japanese marque's Qashqai model, as well as its forthcoming smaller crossover vehicle Juke, which rolls out in September. The Nissan Brand Centre opens its doors in July.

Paul Willcox, Nissan GB marketing director, said: "The O2 offers us the space, support and exposure to showcase the brand to over 7.5 million people every year, and will become a focal point for an innovative and integrated strategy which will span the entire sales and marketing operation."

The tie-up between Nissan and The O2 was brokered by Manning Gottlieb OMD's branded content division Fuse.
