Nivea has launched a global campaign to promote its Active Age range of men’s facial products. The activity, which was created by DraftFCB, is being rolled out across multiple channels including TV, digital and point-of-sale. The TV ad opens with a man staring at his reflection in a mirror before revealing what his face has endured. By looking through his eyes, viewers are shown the man being, among other things, slapped by a woman, licked by a dog and hit by a football. A voiceover says "it’s hard being a man’s face" before the endline: "It starts with you." The spot was written by Axel Wohlers and Matthias Mueller, art directed by Kristian Joshi and directed by Micky Suelzer through Big Fish.
