No float for Yes Television

- The on-off flotation of Yes Television is off. The troubled video-on-demand company, which last week cut its offer price, has cancelled its flotation due to lack of interest from investors, much to the embarrassment of its merchant banking advisors, Robert Fleming.

Key investors changed their minds on Friday as technology stocks took another battering on the back of Boo.com's failure.

Yes had been hoping to raise around £140 million to finance a rollout of its VOD service.
