Nokia "Be the gift" by Mother

Nokia owner HMD Global is launching a festive campaign encouraging people to switch off their phones this Christmas to spend time with their loved ones.

An emotional TV and cinema ad shot by Hollywood director Justin Chadwick tells the story of the relationship between a grandmother and her grandson, who has recently gone to university. The close pair keep in touch via their phones, but for the holiday he surprises her by showing up in person. The campaign will include PR, digital and a "switch off" website takeover.
