The ‘MI1020’ event series launched on Tuesday (10 December) and is running until 14 December in a top secret location on the former East London Underground line. It will offer diners the opportunity to join a spy collaborative called the ‘Superintendence’ by solving clues to find ‘Mission Control’.
Guests are encouraged to solve clues and use the Nokia Lumia 1020’s 41 mega-pixel camera to discover an evening of high-end food, art and performance.
Arron Child, marketing manager at Windows Phone, said: "The first night exceeded all expectations. All agents who attended were put through their paces using their skills, training and Nokia Lumia 1020s to complete the mission.
"We’re really excited to be working with Gingerline on MI1020. Gingerline events are always pretty special and this one has more twists, turns and surprises than the best of the 60s spy capers that inspired it."
Suz Montford, owner and creator of Gingerline, added: "Gingerline’s point of difference lies in the themes and theatrics, the element of surprise and bringing people into our unique foodie world of wonder and excitement. Working with Windows Phone on the Mi1020 has been an exciting yet secretive journey for the Gingerline team, bringing more Londoners closer to the thing we love to do."
