Taking place from 16-18 September, the brand has described the event as 'an immersive celebration of exploration,' where participants can join like-minded modern day adventurers to taste and trial day-to-day outdoor living.

The festival is designed to equip participants with all the skills and knowledge needed to become an avid adventurer, with proposed activities including running mountainous trails, following a pro-athlete up a rock face, learning gourment expedition cookery and swapping stories around a campfire.

For those with an even bigger sense of adventure, there will be the chance to experience paragliding or rafting, and an attempt to climb the Eiger summit alongside one of the The North Face athletes. At night, festival goers will be treated to live music and outdoor cinema screenings, enjoying fresh local meals set in a geodesic banqueting hall.

There will also be the chance to indulge completely and kickback and recuperate at the in-forest spa, offering a range of relaxing activities.

Expert mountain guides and athletes will be on hand, providing basecamp workshops and talks including inspiring stories of exploration, epic outdoor cinema, adventure photography and expedition kit prep.

Last year, the brand held a one-night, all-nght event in Verdon in France, its first-ever Nigthray Outdoor Festival.
