Northern division of Poster Publicity nets pounds 1.5m Brilliant brief

Poster Publicity North, the regional office of Poster Publicity, has landed the outdoor buying and planning account for Leeds-based media shop Brilliant Media.

has landed the outdoor buying and planning account for Leeds-based media

shop Brilliant Media.



The poster specialist won the business from Posterscope, the incumbent

agency. The pitch was led by director and head of Poster Publicity

North, Colleen Harte.



The win is estimated to be worth about pounds 1.5 million in annual

business for Poster Publicity North and brings the division’s billings

up to pounds 7 million. It also means the company will be handling

business for Brilliant’s clients such as Fila, Jet Petrol and DFS.



Paul Shearring, joint managing director at Poster Publicity, said: ’This

is a significant win. Outdoor is an important medium that requires

in-depth knowledge. As the leading independent poster specialist, we are

winning big accounts on merit.’



Poster Publicity estimates that it handles 16 per cent of UK outdoor

campaigns. In addition to its head office in London, it has offices in

New York, Singapore, Frankfurt and Budapest and its annual billings

exceed pounds 125 million.



Clients include McDonalds, Benetton and Prudential. It is regularly

linked with possible buyers but the management insist they are not

looking to be acquired.
