The activity will form the basis of a brand response campaign, which is planned to run between January and April 2015. Iqbal Gandham, Nutmeg’s chief marketing officer, is overseeing the pitch.
In a brief seen by Campaign, Nutmeg has not specified a channel for the execution.
It currently uses rail, Tube, display, social, PR and print media but is "exploring TV".
Gandham said: "As a rapidly growing company, we continuously work with several agencies."
Nutmeg is looking to target "smart individuals who are currently jaded by existing investment options" and have more than £1,000 to invest.
The company was founded by the former stockbroker Nick Hungerford.
