O&M appoints IBM account man as chief integration officer

- Ogilvy & Mather New York, part of the WPP Group, has appointed Jim Consolantis to the newly created position of chief integration officer.

- Ogilvy & Mather New York, part of the WPP Group, has appointed Jim Consolantis to the newly created position of chief integration officer.

Consolantis, currently a senior partner and worldwide managing creative director on O&M's global IBM business, will oversee the integration of direct marketing, interactive media and design.

The appointment forms part of the agency's commitment to what it calls 360° branding, a philosophy that marries all aspects of marketing communications.

Consolantis will continue to work on the IBM account, on top of his new responsibilities.
