Suzy Lawton, an associate director at CIA Medianetwork, has died
suddenly following complications arising from heart surgery.
Lawton, 27, died late last week after being taken ill with a heart valve
infection in mid-February.
Lawton had worked in the industry for almost ten years. She first joined
TMD Carat in 1988 and moved, three years later, to join MediaCom where
she headed strategic planning on more than pounds 30 million of
business, including SmithKline Beecham and Pedigree Petfoods. She left
to join CIA as an associate director in August last year.
Nick Kelvin, planning director at CIA Medianetwork, said: ’Suzy touched
everyone with her enthusiasm and friendliness. It is for her positive
attitude that we will remember her most.’
The funeral will take place at Putney Vale Crematorium, Kingston Road,
London, on Friday 21 March at 2:30 pm. Flowers, or donations to the
London Chest Hospital, will be welcomed.
