OgilvyOne triumphs at Campaign Direct for Cancer Research

LONDON - OgilvyOne's Cancer Research UK 'still here' campaign picked up the gold award for Best Overall Execution at this year's Campaign Direct Awards.

As well as scooping the top prize, the campaign also won silvers for Best Use of Outdoor, Best Use of Press and Best Use of Broadcast.

The fundraising campaign featured stories of real people who survived cancer thanks to charity-funded research. "Bench" won top honours.

Harrison Troughton Wunderman won the most awards of this year's entrants -- five silvers, including one for Best Charity Campaign for its work for The National Phobics Society, and another for M&G Investments.

EHS Brann's "winback" Tesco mailing won three silvers, including Best Use of Direct Mail to Consumers. Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel also won three silvers, for its Land Rover, First Direct and Virgin Trains clients.

Other winners included 20:20 London and Clayton Graham Communications.

Cordell Burke, OgilvyOne's creative director, chaired the panel of judges.
