ONdigital prepaid digital boxes go sales UK-wide

- ONdigital, the digital terrestrial television company, is to roll its prepaid set top box concept out nationwide from November 1 following a successful test market at Woolworths in Glasgow.

The prepaid boxes will be available in a selected branches of Argos, Carphone Warehouse, Comet, Woolworths and 200 Sainsbury's superstores.

The prepaid set top boxes will retail at £119, which covers a year's full subscription to the ONdigital service.

Guy Laurence, sales and marketing director at ONdigital, said: "ONdigital is not only at the forefront of television technology, it is also at the forefront of pay television marketing."
