- The highly competitive online football market place is joined by another player this week, onefootball.com, which is backing its launch with a one million ad campaign.
The campaign, created by Billington Cartmell, ,targets people who are passionate about all aspects of the game, go to matches, watch football religiously on television and always read the back pages of a newspaper first.
This campaign comprises 500 48-sheet posters, which will appear in the London region- using two treatments: "there's only onefootball.com" and "You're not surfing anymore". Poster advertising will be backed by online, national press and magazine work in titles such as GQ, Loaded and FHM.
Media buying is being handled by AMS and online sales and sponsorship by Real Media.
The site offers up-to-the-minute news, live scores, match results, in-depth player profiles, reports and on UK and pan-European competitions. It also features a travel service to selected European matches and an online betting service.
