
The ad generator has been devised to promote Shop For Good – a not-for-profit venture aimed at driving sales at local businesses in the US.
Businesses that want to ride the Bacon wagon need only enter their company name and description of their business. The tech then gets to work to create a tailored ad featuring Bacon, some clunky graphics and equally dodgy, but brand-specific, automated voice work.
Here’s a Bacon-fronted ad for Marketing mag, which posed as a pizzeria for journalistic purposes. [NB We were warned that if anyone who is not a small business signs up to the ad generator then Bacon "will be disappointed in you".]
