The Open University’s new TV campaign is an uplifting tale that follows four OU students as they struggle to combine studying with their jobs and family lives. Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO created the ad, which also features a rousing soundtrack and ends with the line: "The most important thing you’ll learn at The Open University is what you’re capable of." This is the first ad that AMV BBDO has created for the organisation since winning a pitch at the end of 2014. The work was written by Phil Martin, art directed by Colin Jones and directed by Nicolas Jack Davies through Pulse. Media planning and buying was handled by MediaCom.
