meets some distant relatives.

They’re small, they’re hairy and they make rude noises. But before he

started studying the behaviour of media buyers, Simon Cox worked with

chimpanzees.

The summer job as assistant zookeeper sounds perfect for anybody brought

up on Animal Magic. But wasn’t it dangerous? After all, while chimps

look funny, swinging on tyres and showing their arses to the crowd, the

little buggers have sharp teeth. ’Fortunately there was a qualified

keeper in the cage with me,’ Cox explains.

Finally he decided to get out of the monkey business. ’It’s not at all

relevant to my current job,’ he adds, with a chuckle.
