OPINION: Harris in a hurry to get Tories electable

Will Harris isn't a man to hang around. WCRS, Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, the marketing chief of the mobile phone operator O2 and now the frontrunner to become the head of communications at the Conservative Party, now under new management. The big question is whether the nakedly ambitious Harris has the stamina and attention-span to see through a strategy that can make the Tories electable again. It will be a long haul. Under Harris, O2 urged consumers to "see what you can do". It will be fascinating to see what happens now Michael Howard is making the same request of his image-maker.
