Optimedia Greece opens its doors

-The Publicis group media dependant, Optimedia, has opened its doors in the Greek market for the first time as a standalone unit, and will immediately rank among the top ten media buyers in the region.

Previously Optimedia had operated in Greece through a combination of Publicis Hellas and Gnomi-FC.

Optimedia Greece will be headed up by Michael Galgos, who will lead a staff of 12. Billings next year are expected to be around $20 million.

Major clients include Lancome, Nestle and most recently Peter Stuyvesant.
