- Orange has bought the Press Associations interactive division Ananova for £95 million. Ananova, which launched in April, is an animated internet newscaster and information provider.
The Press Association revealed its intention to sell off Ananova in February.
A spokesperson for Orange said: "This is tremendous news for Ananova. Orange are one of the most innovative and recognised brands in the world of communications and having their backing will enable Ananova's potential to be fully realised. We are both looking forward to a very exciting future together."
