Boas has more than 15 years experience on the corporate side of the industry, having worked at energy supplier E.ON as head of sponsorship and events between 2008 and 2011. Here he repositioned the company’s sponsorship of the FA Cup towards content-led consumer engagement.
He has also worked in Sony Europe’s brand and sponsorship division and as global brand communications manager for Adidas. He founded Olimo Marketing agency and worked on a contract basis for Middle Eastern telecoms provider Ooredoo.
Boas’ remit at Paragon will include creating engagement and content solutions across the company.
Mike Martin, managing director at Paragon, said: "It is a exciting time for Paragon, we are looking forward to using Phil’s understanding and knowledge to further develop our business and build on our already strong portfolio of clients."
Boas added: "This is a really exciting time for me to join the Paragon team as they have a great vision for the future of the agency and how this will benefit our clients. They already do some great work and I think my knowledge and insight as to how brands work and what they need will help us further improve how we create strategies that deliver relevant and meaningful returns."
