Partners completes management team with Joe Boyd hiring

Partners BDDH is beefing up its client-handling capability with the appointment of a new head of account management.

Joe Boyd joins from Leo Burnett where he was made head of operations last year having worked at D'Arcy for the previous four. He filled a variety of roles at D'Arcy including that of client services director.

His appointment follows that of Nick Hastings, also from D'Arcy, who became Partners' creative director in February, replacing Will Awdry.

Before working at D'Arcy, Boyd was Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper's new-business director. He has also had stints at BDDP Paris, Bartle Bogle Hegarty and BMP DDB.

In his 16 years as an account man, Boyd has worked with clients such as Courage, Sony, Audi, Mars and Abbey National.

Boyd will join Partners on 1 July, and, in addition to his role as head of account management, will assume group account director responsibilities across a range of accounts.

Partners' managing director, Simon Toaldo, said: "We're really chuffed to have hired Joe. He's our sort of bloke - warm, creative, passionate and energetic. Our management line-up is now complete and I believe we have a team that is second to none. We're ready to take on the world."
