Camp Chipperfield Hill Murray has poached Paul Gordon, a board

account director at Ammirati Puris Lintas, to be its new managing

director.

He replaces Steve Chipperfield, who has moved up to become chairman of

the through-the-line specialist financial services agency.

Gordon had responsibility for the PricewaterhouseCoopers, Goldman Sachs,

P&O Cruises and Air France accounts at APL. He was also in charge of

NatWest before the bank’s departure for TBWA GGT Simons Palmer last

year.

’It was always my plan to make the board at a big multinational and then

run a smaller agency,’ Gordon said.

’Financial services is a huge growth sector and I want to be in a

position - and in an agency that has the experience - to exploit

this.’

At the same time, Louise Richards has been promoted from client services

director to deputy managing director. She will work with Gordon on

client delivery and operational management, and will continue to manage

key client relationships.

Roderic Hill, who has chaired the agency for several years, will be

dedicating more time to his chairmanship of CCHM’s parent, the Hill

Murray Group, which he founded in 1984 with Alastair Murray and

Chipperfield.

Chipperfield commented: ’We have made impressive progress since we

created CCHM. The time is now right for us to strengthen our management

structure and invest in the next stage of our development.’

The agency won business from American Express, PPP Healthcare, Direct

Line Insurance and Britannia Building Society last year.
