The appointment -- which has been the worst kept secret in advertising for months now -- is expected to lead to an overhaul of the agency, which has lost a series of key accounts in the last 12 months.

O&M's misery continued this week with the departure of its client of over 70 years, the Woolwich, to Publicis. The loss follows those of Bupa, Guinness and its status as lead agency for Ford of Europe.
