Pepsi Max has been using an augmented-reality bus shelter to trick passers-by. Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and OMD UK created the stunt, which took place on New Oxford Street in London. A bus-stop six-sheet showed a live feed of the street ahead, giving the impression of a see-through panel. However, as the AR technology kicked in, it looked as though aliens were invading. The work was created by Richard Peretti and Gary Lathwell. Dan Dawson was the creative technology director and Grand Visual was the production company.
