Persil hails the comforts of home as social distancing continues.
Set in a desolate playground on a sunny day, the ad thanks kids for "playing indoors", after years of campaigns encouraging them to get messy in the great outdoors. Instead of breakdancing or impromptu food fights, the spot features children as they paint rainbows from the comfort of their own homes.
There is also a series of print ads hailing the efforts of housebound children during the coronavirus pandemic, with taglines including, "we come together by playing apart" and "let’s play our part, let’s play apart", in partnership with Nat Geo Kids. It was created by Katrina Encanto and EJ Galang.
