Peugeot "The score" by BETC Paris

Peugeot captures the joy of driving its new 508 vehicle through a unique collaboration with Oscar-winning composer and pianist RIOPY.

BETC commissioned RIOPY, who has composed soundtracks for films such as The Danish Girl and The Shape of Water, to write a song that could be played by a 508 car. The result is the longest musical score in the world, comprising over two kilometres and 190 musical notes placed along a racing track. As RIOPY drives the car, laser sensors mounted beneath it detect the music note and play the sound. A drone follows the car, allowing an orchestra to play along with a life-size score. The ad was shot at a former military base in Croatia. It was written by Ibrahim Seck, art directed by Antoine Montes, and directed by John S. Park through Quad.
