PHD North sees off four to land Otto UK

Otto UK, the home-shopping company, has awarded its £8 million media planning and buying account to PHD North after a five-way pitch.

The account is currently split between Zed Media for the Kaleidoscope brand and MediaVest Manchester for Grattan.

Alex Hardy, the Kaleidoscope brand director, said: "Otto UK is committed to developing its multibrand strategy, and we wanted an agency that could understand each of our brands and could deliver tailor-made solutions and drive an innovative approach to media planning."
