Snare says she functions on coffee and a sense of humour, which have successfully fuelled her through a busy year. She has launched major campaigns for, among others, the Azure cloud-computing platform and the Lumia smartphone. She’s also overhauled Microsoft’s UK marketing strategy, putting more focus on social media as well as launching the latest version of the brand’s star product, the Surface Pro 3 tablet. She has achieved some of the highest employee-satisfaction scores across the company. Consequently, she describes 2014 as a "remarkable" year both for her personally, and her team.
