Take That pick up marooned fans in fleet of Suzukis for ITV spot

Ad continues 'Suzuki Saturdays' campaign launched in January.

A group of fans whose bus breaks down en route to a Take That concert end up getting personally chauffeured by Messrs Barlow, Donald and Owen in the latest instalment of Suzuki’s partnership with ITV.

The 90-second film, "Suzuki saves the day", which will be shown during Britian’s Got Talent tomorrow night (27 April), was created by ITV Studios and directed by Paul Mackay. The media partnership was developed by the7stars.

The fans were heading to the first show of Take That’s Greatest Hits Live tour, at Sheffield Arena on 13 April, footage from which appears in the film. The tour continues until 8 June, when the final show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium takes place.

The film is part of a campaign across multiple touchpoints including:

  • A nationwide roadshow that will show off Suzuki’s range of models and offer Take That giveaways

  • A regional radio partnership with Global’s Smooth Radio, offering listeners the chance to win concert tickets

  • VIP meet-and-greets throughout the tour

  • VIP cinema screenings around the country of the final show in Cardiff

  • Social videos released throughout the campaign

  • The partnership between Suzuki, ITV and Take That began in January with a trio of 30-second films in which Take That surprise fans in various ways. It follows the "Suzuki Saturdays" campaign, which ran from 2015 to 2018 and featured Ant & Dec.
